CORID stops coccidia at a critical stage in the host animal’s small intestine to prevent more damaging coccidiosis in the large intestine. By acting on the young asexual stages of the coccidia life cycle, CORID allows exposure to first-generation schizonts, so the host animal can develop natural immunity to coccidia. This makes CORID effective as a preventive therapy.

Dosage:
21-day prevention – add 1-1/2 oz to 1 quart water and administer as drench 1 oz of solution per 100 lbs body weight daily for 21 days; or add one 10 oz pack to 250 gallons of drinking water, offer as sole source of drinking water for 21 days. One 10 oz packet will help prevent coccidiosis in twelve 100 lb calves or roughly three 400 lb calves.
5-day treatment – add 3 oz to 1 quart of water and administer as drench 1 oz of solution per 100 lbs body weight daily for 5 days; or add one 10 oz pack to 125 gallons of drinking water, offer as sole source of drinking water for 5 days. One 10 oz packet also will treat twenty-five 100 lb calves or six 400 lb calves for the disease.
